Terms of service.

These terms govern your use of Hooktopus. By signing up, you agree to them. They're written in plain English; the lawyer version is available on request.

Acceptable use

• Don't use Hooktopus to send spam, malware, or illegal content.
• Don't try to break it. Penetration testing requires written permission.
• Don't impersonate someone else's account.
• Don't exceed reasonable rate limits in a way that harms other customers.

Service availability

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for ingress and 99.5% for the hub UI. We're hosted on Cloudflare; outages there are outages here. We will not commit to an availability SLA below the Cloudflare dashboard's status report. Status: status.hooktopus.io.

Billing

Plans are monthly. Soft-cap email at 80% of your tier; hard-cap blocks BQ writes at 110% (events continue to be archived in R2 and replayable). Upgrade through Stripe's customer portal; cancel by downgrading to Free (same place). We don't offer pro-rated refunds on monthly plans.

Termination

You can close your account at any time from /w/[slug]/settings. We retain workspace metadata for 30 days post-deletion for backup purposes, then it's gone. R2 archive is deleted within 24 hours of account closure.

Liability

Hooktopus is provided "as is." Our maximum liability under these terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We're a small company; we don't have a treasury for indemnity claims.

Changes

We'll email you 30 days before any material change. The current version of these terms is always at this URL.
